In 1517, Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses to the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Saxony. This was the start of Luther's call for reformation of the church. We are thankful to God for raising people like Martin Luther, John Calvin and the Puritans who have helped recover the key doctrines of God's Word. As a Reformed Church, we are reminded today from 1 Timothy 3:15 to be "the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth".

Last week, we were blessed to attend an Interview Session with Keith and Kristyn Getty virtually via a Zoom call. This call was hosted by GRC's sister church, namely Shalom Church in Singapore. It was an edifying session where the attendees were given the opportunity to ask both Keith & Kristyn questions of different aspects.

Keith & Kristyn Getty are a Northern Irish Christian duo, best known for writing many popular modern hymns with veteran English songwriter and worship leader Stuart Townend for almost 20 years. Some of their popular hymns include "In Christ Alone", "By Faith", "The Power of The Cross", "The Lord is My Salvation" and also one of their latest release, "Christ our Hope in Life and Death".

Here are some memorable moments from the interview session. Swipe to find out more! 😉

If you didn't manage to attend the interview session, fret not! The full interview session link is available on our bio 🙂

Just as how Kristyn Getty has mentioned in the interview that singing is for every believer, we pray that God will continue to bless the Getty Music ministry as they strive to write theological sound modern hymns which can be sung by the congregation across the generations.

We are encouraged by the increasing attendance in our recent Sunday Worship Services. We wish to assure you that we are always evaluating how best to make room for everyone who wants to worship with us in person.

With that said, we are delighted to announce we are resuming most of our in-person Regular Ministries starting September. However, in line with the Government’s decision to extend the RMCO period until 31 December 2020, we will continue to observe the SOP with some changes as described above.

Do get in touch with us if you have any questions regarding these changes! ◡̈
