Highlights From RBYC 2019

How long will you falter between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him. – 1 Kings 18:21
Every year the members from Grace Reformed Church and Serdang Grace Baptist Church combine forces to host the annual Reformed Baptist Youth Camp. The Youth Camp has always been a great avenue for the teens and young adults to mingle around, make new friends, bond together, play games and have fellowship with fellow believers. This year was no different as God again poured blessings upon blessings into this camp.
This year we had the wonderful opportunity of learning how to handle cross roads in life. Elder Kah Heng, Bro. John Wee, and Pastor Kek each gave talks regarding this topic, drawing lessons from the lives of Moses, Elijah, and Jeremiah. We also had 5 workshops conducted during the camp about Money, Vocation, Assurance of Salvation, Technology, and the Gospel. Additionally, campers got to bond over the various games and activities planned throughout the camp.
A Note To Our Campers
While we hope that you had a good time of bonding and fun, our greater desire is that you have heard the gospel. Having now heard the word preached, it is time for you to respond. “There is still tomorrow” will be the devil’s constant whisper to you, yet you can never know when judgement day is coming and you will never know when will be your passing.
God is our creator and we ought to follow Him. The passing pleasures of sin and the world is not worth pursuing. It will lead to perdition and destruction. Do not falter between two opinions, choose one and follow it with all your heart.
A Final Word
With that said, all good things come from God (Psalm 16:2), these are blessings from God and He has been kind to us for many years. We likewise hope that our campers benefited much from this year’s Youth Camp.
Stay tuned for updates on the next RBYC. We hope you’re just as excited as we are!
